Lynn’s Notes ♫ October 2025
In India, Christians worship like we do here in the U.S.A. Some contemporary, some classical hymns. Not a lot of southern gospel, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there are some fans of old-time gospel somewhere in that big country. We have a CD of a wonderful southern gospel quartet from Ireland. The church we visited worshipped in the basement of a school with a guitar and bass, and half the songs were in Hindi. We sang along best we could, when we could read the words on the screen. We didn’t know what we were singing, yet we knew we were praising God. One day, we will worship our Savior, the Lamb of God, with one voice – “All nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues.” – Rev 7:9
The Kid’s Choir is quickly learning their new Christmas songs, and the Adult Choir is gearing up for some Noels. Please pray for these folks, and for Patsy and me as we lead.
Special thanks to Diane and Billy Joe, David and Angelique, for playing and leading while we were on the other side of the world.
He keeps me singing,
