Greetings, Church Family! It’s hard to believe how quickly Christmas has passed and January is already coming to an end. Winter can feel long and heavy at times, especially for those who love the outdoors—but spring always comes. As we move through the seasons of the year, we also walk through seasons of life. From childhood to adulthood, each season shapes us. Every stage brings its own joys and struggles, yet none of them are wasted. God knows each season before we ever step into it, and He uses them to grow us and draw us closer to Him.
Recently, our youth attended Thrive Weekend at Meadowood Baptist Church. Worshiping alongside students and leaders from nineteen churches was truly refreshing. Gary Permenter challenged us to live boldly—not just in what we say, but in how we live for Christ. As I reflect on my own life, I am reminded of God’s faithfulness through every season. He has carried me, provided for me, and never let go. It brings to mind the old hymn, “The Longer I Serve Him, the Sweeter He Grows.”
Please pray for our youth as they walk through difficult seasons. May they look to Jesus for guidance, strength, and hope.
Thank You, Lord, for Your many blessings and for carrying us through every season of life.
From my heart,
Tracy Ridings ❤️
