From our Youth Director
Greetings, Church Family! As we step into the month of March, we begin to see signs of spring all around us. The cold days slowly give way to warmer sunshine, flowers begin to bloom, and the earth reminds us that God is always at work bringing new life from what once seemed dormant. Spring is a beautiful picture of blessing and renewal. Just as the seasons change, God continues to refresh our hearts and give us new opportunities to serve Him and bless others.
This past month, our youth have been faithfully keeping the church blessing box refilled. Each Wednesday evening, they restock it with items that can meet practical needs in our community. It has been a joy to watch them serve with willing hearts. We would gladly accept any donations of items students could use to restock the box. Your generosity helps our young people be the hands and feet of Jesus. God’s Word reminds us of the importance of blessing others: “Do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” — Hebrews 13:16 (NIV) “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.” — Luke 6:38 (NIV) “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” — Acts 20:35 (NIV)
As we embrace this new season, let us pray over every item placed in the blessing box. May each blessing meet a real need. May every person who receives something feel seen, loved, and cared for by God. And may our students continue to grow in compassion and generosity. Please join me in praying that our young people will always have a desire to bless others — not only through material gifts, but through kind words, encouragement, and Christlike love. Just as spring brings new growth, may God grow in them hearts that reflect His goodness.
From my heart,
Tracy Ridings ♥️
