The temperature dipped down into the high 60’s this week! I know, we have at least another month of summer, but the cooler temps help me focus on the future, as in Christmas. The numbers and ages of our kids are going down, but Patsy and I hold out hope for a kid’s Christmas musical. And, it was great to see a choir in the loft a few weeks ago, even for one Sunday. So, our plan is to have, for the first time ever, the adult and kids Christmas music on the same Sunday – in the morning service. Stay tuned for more on this.
Is the Lord calling you to sing in the choir? He’s calling all of us to praise and worship Him. As Brother Robert mentioned, corporate worship is important to the life of every Christian. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” – Colossians 3:16
He keeps me singing,
