Have you ever looked at someone and asked, “What were you thinking?” The answer is usually, “Nothing,” or not exactly what was going through the mind. I'm sure it is a good thing that others can't read our minds. Sometimes it might promote ill feelings if our thoughts were revealed to others.
But did you know God knows our thoughts. Yes, he knows what we are thinking all the time. He knows all that is in our heart and on our mind.
There is a prayer in Psalm 139:23-24 acknowledging what God knows about us. Would we be comfortable praying this prayer?
1. Search me. I have nothing to hide.
2.Know me. I want to know you more.
3. Try me. See that I can be trusted.
4. See me. I want to see you in me.
5. Lead me. I will follow you.
May this be our honest prayer today.
