“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him.” Luke 2Gen 1:27
January is “Sanctity of Life Month.” As image-bearers of the Creator God, we have His creative nature in our DNA. Music is a gift He planted in every person, a gift we can give back to Him by singing His praises. When we sing, we are reflecting His image, not just to the Family of God, but to the lost as well. Birds can sing, but they can’t compose lyrics and music to show forth the glory of God. But you can. If you don’t think your singing is pleasing to the human ear, just talk the song. God will accept your praise as a sweet aroma.
What a blessing it was to have a choir in the loft a couple of weeks ago. Easter will be here before you know it. Just as we sang songs of Jesus’ birth, we definitely want to sing praises to His death and resurrection.
