Beacon Newsletter April 2026
Greetings, Church Family! As spring brings new life and renewal all around us, we are reminded of the greatest gift of all—the blessing of the cross. This Easter season, we reflect on the incredible love of Jesus, who gave His life so that we might have eternal life. “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8, NIV). Because of that sacrifice, we can fully depend on Him and trust Him with every part of our lives, even when we struggle to do so. Psalm 138:8 reminds us, “The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, Lord, endures forever—do not abandon the works of your hands.” What a comfort it is to know that His love is constant, His promises are sure, and His plans for us are secure.
Our youth have been studying what happened at the cross and what it means for our lives today. They are learning that with such a great gift comes a responsibility—to share the good news of Jesus with others so they too can experience salvation. We are excited to see their hearts growing in faith and boldness. We also want to thank you for your continued support of our church’s Blessing Box ministry. The youth are currently accepting donations, and we refill the box each Wednesday night. We have been placing a Bible inside along with an encouraging note, and each week we notice that someone has taken a Bible. What a blessing it is to know that God’s Word is being received! Continue praying for our young people as they are nearing testing season and the end of another school year.
From my heart,
