All of us are used to some kind of routine. For some, that routine is stricter than others, but because of the ice week in January, we were all forced to break out of our routines. James’s daycare was closed during the ice week, so he spent the week with me as Stephanie braved the ice to work at the hospital. When you get out of a routine, or are forced to develop a new one, it takes some time to get it just right. As you structure your weekly routine, I encourage you to prioritize Jesus in your daily life. Make Bible reading and church involvement a non-negotiable part of your routine. You’ll make something in your life a priority. If it’s not your faith, then it will be something else of far less importance. Some of you may enjoy the duties of your weekly routine, but for others it may be something you trudge through just to get to the weekend. But being a Christian should be the joy of your life. Joining together with others of like minded faith should be the highlight of your week. However, sometimes it’s not. Maybe you’ve had a bad experience with church, or maybe you’re busy and you’d just rather be doing something else with that time. I know God wants Chrisitans to enjoy worshiping him and enjoy being together. So pray that God would help you to love being with his people. Pray that God would help you to structure your weekly routine so that your time management shows that you prioritize him. With Love, Bro. Mark Robbins
